The Poll at the election will be taken on Friday 24 October 2025, between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m.

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION Polling Day on Friday the 24th October 2025
I HEREBY GIVE YOU NOTICE THAT:
- The latest date for the receipt of appeals in respect of the Register of Electors of the County of Kerry Postal and Special Voters Lists in advance of the Presidential Election on Friday the 24th October 2025 shall be 2p.m. on Friday the 3rd of October 2025. All such Appeals will be heard by the County Registrar for the County of Kerry at 02:30p.m on Friday the 3rd October 2025 at the Circuit Court, the Courthouse, Ashe Street, Tralee, in the County of Kerry and should be directed by post or personal delivery to The County Registrar of Kerry, C/o The Courts Service, Floor 2 Centrepoint Building, John Joe Sheehy Road, Tralee County Kerry and to reach him prior to that date and time.
- The latest date for the receipt of appeals in respect of the Register of Electors of the County of Kerry General Voters Lists in advance of the Presidential Election on Friday the 24th October 2025 shall be 2p.m. on Friday the 10th October 2025. All such Appeals will be heard by the County Registrar for the County of Kerry at 02:30p.m on Friday the 10th October 2025 at the Circuit Court, the Courthouse, Ashe Street, Tralee, in the County of Kerry and should be directed by post or personal delivery to The County Registrar of Kerry, C/o The Courts Service, Floor 2 Centrepoint Building, John Joe Sheehy Road, Tralee County Kerry and to reach him prior to that date and time.
- Any Appeals received after the final date shall not be considered by the County Registrar until after Polling Day for above Presidential Election.

Presidential Election Order 2025
The minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne, has signed the Presidential Election 2025 Order setting 24th October 2025 as the date for the Presidential Election. The full text of the order is available by clicking the following link.

We are now accepting applications for work on the Presidential Election which is due to be held on 24th October 2025. You can apply by clicking on "Apply for Work" in the menu at the left hand side of this web page.
We will ONLY accept applications made through this website so please do not phone or write to us looking for work.
Persons campaigning for any party or candidate in the election are NOT ELIGIBLE to work for us on this election.
